the croatian ankica was born in 1951 in indjija-vojvodina (serbia) and became an artist at the pedagogical college in novi sad after elementary school and subsequent art school. She worked as a fashion designer for 10 years before she taught art as an elementary school teacher for 9 years.

from 1992-1995 she was art director for handicrafts, silk painting, watercolor and portraits at the following institutes: jekami-bildungsforum iserlohn, ib-jugendsozielwerke ev iserlohn, awo  haus der familie, caritasverband hagen ev., caritasverband dortmund ev, wella color project promotions frankfurt, wichernhaus iserlohn.

exhibitions: collaboration on various fashion magazines, more than 50 individual exhibitions in germany, switzerland & croatia as well as participation in "seoul world art exhibition" (2002), international art exhibition "arsenal  zadar" (2007), "soul international art festival  peace" (2007), exhibition in the kyrgyz national museum d. image. arts in bishkek/kyrgyzstan "parcel for kyrgyzstan" (2008).
