karin bernhart, im weinviertel in niederösterreich am 29.10.62 geboren. die meisten meiner arbeiten am stein und ton entstanden während meines 6-jährigen aufenthaltes in köln. dort habe ich von jahrelangen bürotätigkeiten genervt, endlich meine handwerklichen fähigkeiten ausleben können und die ausbildung zum steinmetz absolviert. derzeit lebe ich wieder in wien und verfolge meine leidenschaft für steinworking nebenher.
kraft, energie und vollendung sind für mich harmonie!
jedes werk von mir ist ein weiteres stück zur harmonie!
ausstellungen sind geplant doch nicht vordergründig, allein der spaß am stein zu arbeiten bringt mir kraft und energie für mein wohlbefinden.
karin bernhart, born on 29th of october 1962, in hollabrunn in lower austria. most of my works on stone and clay were produced during my stay of 6 years in cologne in germany. there i have, stressed by my office jobs, realized my manual skills and finished the education as stonemason. currently i am living in vienna again and i am following my passion to stone-working.

1952 in wien geboren • abgeschlossenes studium der geschichte (schwerpunkt zeitgeschichte) • arbeit als volksschullehrerin, teilweise auch als historikerin • seit vielen Jahren teilnahme an fortbildungsveranstaltungen, die malerei betreffend (künstlerische volkshochschule, sommerakademie...) • seit 2003 mehrere einzelausstellungen.
diffuse gefühle und empfindungen werden mir durch malen verdeutlicht. im augenblick des gestaltens versinkt die außenwelt, es gibt nur mehr die innensicht. die fertigen bilder jedoch benötigen die konfrontation mit dem du.

dr. rashid diab was born in 1957, wad medani/sudan. he lives and works in khartoum/sudan. in 1978 after graduatin from the khartoum college of fine and applied arts in sudan, he went to spain on a scholarship for further studies in art. 1991 he hade completed fine arts degrees in painting and in etching (separately) and obtained a Ph.D. for a thesis titled "tradition and modernity: contemporary sudanese art" from the complutense university of madrid. follwing the awarding of his Ph. D. he taught fine art at the same university until returning to sudan in 2000. he owns and directs the medani gallery and established the rashid diab arts center in khartoum 2006.
rashid diab had far more than 70 solo exhibitions around the world and took part at numerous group exhibitions.

mit 14 jahren errang ich bereits mit kleinplastiken den ersten preis im budapester schülerwettbewerb. nach der matura arbeitete ich einige zeit als restaurateurin in der ungarischen national galerie. ebenso war ich als grafikerin und auch porzellanmalerin tätig und beendete nebenbei erfolgreich den lehrgang als schaufensterdekorateurin.
weiters besuchte ich auch kurse der kunstschule lazarettgasse und seminare von prof.fischer/akademie bildendekünste und prof. kaiser /univ. angewandtekunst wien.
meine werke sind in zahlreichen privaten & permanenten sammlungen zu finden u.a. im chateau des reaux, in china, österreich, ungarn, new york, miami, los angeles...
des weiteren nahm ich an bisher über 50 ausstellungen im in- und ausland teil; z.b. in qingdao, seoul, new york, los angeles, budapest und florenz. ich bin partnerin der art4life charity galerie licht für die welt und mitglied im atelier el-kordy und der ig bildende kunst.
i've obtained my first award with 14 years: first price of the budapest school competition in the field of small sculptures. after matriculation i've been working as conservator at the hungarian national gallery. furthermore, i've been working in the field of graphics and china paintings (porcelain) besides completing successfully the course of window display.
i also attended the art school courses and seminars (lazarettgasse) of prof. fischer/academy of fine arts and prof. kaiser / university of applied art vienna.
my art works can be found in numerous private & permanent collections including chateau des reaux, china, austria, hungary, new york, miami, los angeles...

Gerald Grünwerth, born on 21 September 1961, lives and works in Gänserndorf and Vienna.
Beeing an autodidact he achieved his artistic abilities by means of a purley positiv and ambitious way. He is an artist of the "Marchfeldgalerie" in Lower Austria. He is also a member of "El-Kordy", a group of artists, in Vienna. In 2003 the artist, who is Carinthian by birth, started to work intensively in the fine arts. In return for this he was rewarded by participations in national and international exhibitions.
His works centre in capturing experienced and imaginary moments of life.
These timeless moments the stem straight from his heart and not from his mind.
A central topic is the representation of the human body and the bodies are represented in a realistic way and put in a colourful background, which nearly is not there.
The intensive colours (are in state of flux) flow into concrete forms and shapes. The radiate vitality and life. Vivid, almost pure primary colours characterize the look.

Alexander Janda (*1955) had 1975-1979 a substantiated education as an graphic artist, which influences his artistic work to date.
Together with Jon Griebler he founded the art-project R·STRIPES on 1st of july 2004. The task of this project is the metamorphosis of the undimensional stripe, or line, in multidimensional figurative or informal structures. (Jon Griebler is an Austrian musicologist, who sees his research interest in the experimental music of the last decades of the 20st century till today.)
In the years 1980-2005 appeared numerous public exhibitions, concerts, performances and music productions. Photography and video-taping are also essential components of their work.
